Ordering Office Supplies Has Never Been Easier
Are you responsible for the ordering office supplies for your office? I'm sure you may find it a very time consuming task. I'm about to share a new way of ordering office supplies that will definitely make the task much easier. If you're not the one responsible for ordering supplies, please share this information with the individual responsible.
The one thing that every office needs to do is order office supplies. Some offices only need to order once every so often, some must order very often. A lot of it depends on how quickly the supplies are being used. Some offices also have break rooms for the employees. Naturally, this requires the ordering of items for the break room (e.g., coffee, cups, sweeteners, napkins, etc.).
Depending on how often you need to order, it can become a very time-consuming task. There may be the option of creating a “favorites” list (a.k.a. a “frequently ordered items”) list which may make the process quicker. If you have a small office and only use a few items, a favorites list works well. If you have a big office with lots of items to order, a list is pretty much useless since you still need to find the item that you want.
I’ve created a way to make the ordering of office and break room supplies much easier. Let me introduce you to the Digital Supply Room Catalog. The catalog is setup to include all the items which you are currently using in your office on a regular basis. To use this catalog, simply go to the Catalog Index page, click on the category of the item you’re looking for. This will bring you to the page with that particular item. Next, click on the item that you want to order, and it will automatically bring up the web link to the supplier which you order the item from (e.g., Staples, Amazon, W.B. Mason, Office Depot, Sam’s Club, etc.).
